Adorably sensitive singer-songwriter Jason Reeves used twitter today to take on Lady Gaga’s “atrocious abuse of art and the spotlight.”
Jason tweeted: “Lady Gaga is trying so hard to be a genius. I would say more, but I don’t need to. Someday the world will again care more about the content of the song than the fame or absurdity of the person singing it.”
Meanwhile, Lady Gaga has said that her latest video, “Marry the Night,” is an “honest moment,” adding that the video should be seen as “insight into my entire creative process and the way that I view things.”
I’m hardly a ‘little monster,’ but I’d like to think there’s room in this world to appreciate both Jason’s heartfelt love songs and Gaga’s naked cereal rub-downs. Where do you stand on this one?
