Zachary Quinto, Stefano Langone, & Kris Allen support gay youth, make us swoon in the process

In today’s edition of good looking people doing good things: The Trevor Project, an organization aimed at preventing suicide among LGBTQ teens, held their annual star-studded Trevor Live concert Sunday night. Lady Gaga was the honoree of the night, and the celebrity-laden audience was treated to a round of inspired performances.

Newly out Zachary Quinto was there

ZQ’s been involved with the Trevor Project far longer than he’s been out (check out his fantastic “It Gets Better” video from last year). A long-time supporter of the gay community, even when he was still closeted, Quinto talked about about how different it feels to be attending as an openly gay man.

Also in attendance was American Idol’s Stefano Langone, who tore the house down with his version of “O Holy Night.”

A showstopper, for sure.

One of the few performers to stray from Christmas music was fellow Idol Kris Allen, who chose to sing John Lennon’s “Imagine,” a song about stripping ourselves of religion and possessions in an effort to unify.

His voice is pitch perfect here, and the performance is raw and poignant. Love that guy.

To recap:

Zachary Quinto: Adorable, well-spoken, working hard to prevent the suicide and bullying of gay youth, newly (proudly) out.

Stefano Langone: Great performer, total ladies’s man, the boy can sing!

Kris Allen: Cute, progressive, southern-accent and charm, sings beautiful songs to help kids, soon to be single.

Can’t go wrong here.
